Hi Kenzie!, Im enjoying your work. I wish I could see this piece in person! (or at least close up!) I really am enjoying the depth your creating with (what looks like) the layering of the watercolor. You've also done a wonderful job harnessing the fluid quality of the medium and translating it into content. She feels as if she has emerged right out of concentration 1. :) If I recall, you did the first one on wood? Is this one also on wood?
The first one was on wood! However, I decided to paint this one on watercolor paper because the wood was a bit more difficult. For my next piece, I will decide whether or not to stay with the paper or go back to the wood.
